2 Ways of Getting Wifi in Taiwan

There are two ways you can get a wifi connection in Taiwan.

Option One- free wifi

We offer island wide free wifi. Just be sure to sign up at the airport after you landed. Once you are in the cities, there are not that many places where you can sign up for it.

Restaurants and cafés sometimes will have free wifi for the customers.

Option Two- Getting your own SIM card

If you think the free wifi provided by the government is rather spotty. And want steady stream unlimited wifi access. Don't worry. There are also telephone companies that will provide you the unlimited wifi access. The downside is it is not free.

If you want a SIM card of your own, you might want to get it at the airport as well. The companies inside the city have different regulations. There are packages offered only at the airport. So be sure to solve the wifi situation as soon as you landed.
